There were times when I wanted to put the book down because of the things she would do, but she still compelled me. I cannot imagine what it must feel like to lose a child, especially if you feel as if it’s your fault. ![]() That’s something that belongs in a soap opera. Yet, the whole trying to kill your husband’s mistress did not mesh with me. ![]() I have always loved reading Thrillers and enjoyed my time with Little Secrets. Plus, the fact that her husband is being unfaithful makes things worse. A year later, Marin is struggling with depression but is still determined to find her son. When she is going Christmas shopping with her son, Sebastian, he gets taken by someone at the market. ![]() She has the perfect son, is married to her college sweetheart, and owns a successful hair salon business. CW: Child Abduction, Cheating, Attempted Murder, Attempted Suicide, Suicide. I gave this book 4/5 stars because while I was engaged, I could tell the twist from the very beginning. Now, months later, Marin has to deal with Sebastian still being missing and her husband being unfaithful. Marin has just experienced every parent’s worst nightmare, her son was abducted and has not been found. I have always been one to devour Thrillers, and that was exactly the case with Jennifer Hillier’s Little Secrets. ![]()
